Chetna embodies yoga wisdom. She is a generous, loving, authentic teacher who integrates yoga philosophy into the practice. Her calm presence and clear guidance is infused with humour and humility and a genuine desire to see us succeed in our practice. She is a yoga gem! - Eve Paterson
In March 2020 I attended a Yoga Retreat with Chetna in India. It exceeded expectations with her loving presence, thoughtful classes and fun-loving nature. There were profound aha moments and lots of laughter. The Retreat was off the beaten track and gave us an experience of India that the regular tourist doesn't get. Since then I have attended her online Monday and Friday asana classes and the Wednesday pranayama. It has given me a solid basis for having my own daily practice in between. Chetna is a perceptive teacher, compassionate, knowledgeable and also has true wisdom. This teacher is a gem. - Julie Price
I have been attending Tracy Chetna Boyd's Dancing Lotus Yoga classes since 2008. Prior to that I had attended various yoga classes over the years, but nothing ever quite "clicked". Everything about Chetna's classes worked for me - her knowledge of the yoga philosophies, anatomy, her deep insights into the human condition, and her wonderful sense of humour, all combine to provide deeply fulfilling classes. The intense peaceful state felt at the end of each session and that carries on into daily life, is what has kept me going back all of these years. In 2018, I had the privilege to join Chetna's first Dancing Lotus Sacred Ganges Yoga Retreat in India, which was the experience of a lifetime. Since April of 2020, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Chetna has been providing classes online via Zoom. I have been able to attend the Monday and Friday night asana classes, as well as the Wednesday morning pranyama & meditation class. I am so grateful to Chetna for taking her classes online as this has given me the boost I needed to start an at-home practice. I really appreciate all of the many hours she must spend preparing these classes in which she shares so much knowledge and thought-provoking tips on how to deepen one's practice. I particularly enjoy how the classes are underpinned to the Yoga Sutras. Chetna is a passionate teacher who truly cares about the subject matter and the students, imparting her deep knowledge in a fun, relatable manner. - Laurie Cruz
I first started yoga with Tracy more than 15 years ago and I can say that her classes just keep getting better and better. I currently attend her Online Friday Asana class and this gentle offering has become a fave part of my week that I crave. Tracy is hands down the best yoga teacher I have ever had. She is not only a highly skilled yoga practitioner and gifted teacher but she shares her knowing and experience from a place of deep and humble wisdom, generosity and kindness that leaves me thinking throughout my week. My body, mind and spirit are always so grateful after every class. She's also got a great sense of humour and is feisty and fun! I can't recommend this gem of a teacher and human enough. - Kate Kittredge
I am on my second session of the Monday night online Asana class and just beginning the Wednesday morning online Meditation class. Tracy is a caring, superb teacher. I feel honoured to be taking both yoga and meditation from her.

I have been taking Tracy's Monday evening asana class - beginning level - in person and now on Zoom for several years. This class is perfect for me as I have some shoulder issues that prevent from taking a more challenging class. I love the way that Tracy truly embodies the practice and her additions of yoga philosophy and wisdom always elevate the whole experience.

Tracy (Chetna) was my favourite instructor when I completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga (an unbeatable experience). Her energy is peaceful and receptive, and her teaching style comes from a place of passion - not ego. She teaches to learn from her students and you can really feel the difference in that open and loving approach, compared to other instructors I've explored.
Over the past ten years, I continue to be lucky enough to bump into Tracy in different places. I was delighted to find that she was the yoga instructor when I treated myself to a much needed Yoga Getaway at SSCY, and was grateful to be able to take one of her in-person classes when I was at the Victoria Yoga Conference. I leave her classes (and presence) feeling balanced in mind and body and curious about my practice. I would recommend Dancing Lotus Yoga (Tracy Boyd) to anyone looking to either try yoga for the first time ("beginners") or anyone looking to deepen their on-going practice. Her trauma-informed approach can meet you wherever you currently are in mind and body. - Sara B.
For the past 8+ years, I have had to wonderful good fortune to experience Chetna’s in person and, for the last 10 months, her Zoom Room yoga classes. Her expert instructions are clear, steeped in solid yoga philosophy, and offered with humour. Chetna often includes options for students who have limitations, and I’ve appreciated her keen observations when I’m out of alignment. This past year I was able to travel with Chetna and a small group to India to deepen our practices. This experience helped me further develop and strengthen my daily pranayama and meditation. When I do asana poses on my own, I often hear Chetna’s guiding voice keeping me on track. Thanks for the years of sharing your love of yoga with us. - Joanne Pasta
Tracy has kept a space for me in her Monday 'Beginners Yoga' since I started practicing in 2006, through life changes & surgeries. The practice is a peaceful anchor to my life, teaching and reminding each of us we are all connected to all things. Mind, body, and spirit meld each time we meet. I am deeply grateful for this gift. Namaste - Charlotte Gann
My experience of Tracy's yoga classes have been wonderful. I currently attend twice/week through zoom. I have been attending her classes for a few years. Tracy is very skilled and knowledgeable. Her classes help me physically and psychologically as well. Each class I learn more about the yoga philosophies and I feel grounded and calm. I have recommended her classes to my friends. Tracy is a gift and I appreciate her so much. - Marilyn Murdock
